Professional Carpet Cleaning
Professional carpet cleaning every six to twelve months will help you to prolong the life of your carpet and to protect your investment.
On a daily basis your carpet is subject to more wear and tear than any other item in your home and can affect its overall appearance more than any other item. Soil and grit walked into the home daily can quickly damage carpet fibres leading to premature wear.
We use specialist equipment and expertise to remove not only food, drink and dirt stains but shampoo residue and water from your carpet, so that your carpets stay cleaner for longer. Unlike professional carpet cleaning, most rented carpet cleaning equipment leaves carpets wet with detergent residue.
It’s not just carpet cleaning.
It’s a healthier home!
Eliminating dust mites & odours, reducing allergens, improving air quality!
Does someone in your home suffer from allergies or asthma so you are concerned about allergens and air quality? Do you have children who love to roll around and play on the carpet so you are worried about bacteria? Carpets are beneficial acting as giant filters absorbing and collecting common allergens and germs. But, just like an air filter, carpets become full over time and must be properly cleaned to remain most effective at trapping particulates as they settle from the air.
Preparing your home for carpet cleaning
Step 1: Declutter
The first thing you’ll want to do is remove any clutter from the area being cleaned. This includes things like shoes and socks, toys, books, or anything else that may have found its way onto the carpet being cleaned. All of our cleaning packages include a pre-vacuuming, but clutter can be a tripping hazard.
Step 2: Move light furniture
To ensure that everything is cleaned properly, you will want to move light furniture out of the way. Our carpet cleaning technicians are experts at making your home fresh and clean, but they are not licensed to move furniture. Clearing the area of things like plant stands, coffee tables, and floor lamps will allow the technician to reach all of the out of the way areas on your carpet. You don’t have to move the bigger pieces that are unlikely to move, but the more furniture you have out of the way, the better results you can expect.
Step 3: Put away fragile or valuable items
If you have any fragile or valuable items in the area, you will want to move them to a safe location, out of the way. While our technicians take the utmost care when cleaning your carpet, it is always wise to avoid any unnecessary risks.
Step 4: Make note of problem areas you'd like the technician to pay special attention to
We do a pre-inspection and spot test before each carpet cleaning, but if there is a specific area you want our technician to focus on, feel free to let us know. It is important to us that you are completely satisfied with your service, so make sure to tell us how to make that happen!
Step 5: Prepare your pets
If you have pets, make sure that they are kept in a place away from the area being cleaned. This will allow the technician to focus on the work of cleaning your carpet without having to worry about tripping over your pet.
Step 6: Provide easy access
We will need to bring their equipment inside so it helps when they can park as close to the door as possible. Clearing a path to the carpet they are cleaning is essential.
